| Description | Melina Aslanidou Melina Aslanidou and Vagelis Douvalis together again at The Town Hall accompanied by Greece’s renowned bouzouki maestro/soloist Manolis Karantinis and their orchestra in a “Tribute to the Legendary Singers Grigoris Bithikotsis and Vicky Moscholiou,” whose contributions to the rembetika (Greek blues) and popular-folk songs of Greece were immense and everlasting. Against a backdrop of videos, Melina Aslanidou and Vagelis Douvalis promise another captivating Greek Music Journey that will revive some of the masterpieces of Bithikotsis and Moscholiou, which are popular to this day. Highlighting the participation of Greece’s virtuoso bouzouki player/soloist Manolis Karantinis the concert will reach an even greater level of importance.
