Description

Join us for a juke box Saturday night with timeless hits from the ’50s and ’60s. Mark Lindsay, songwriter, co–founder and former lead Paul Revere and The Raiders, will sing many of his fourteen Top 40 songs including Indian Reservation, Hungry and Arizona. Danny and The Juniors will perform their hits At The Hop, Rock & Roll Is Here To Stay, Twistin In The U.S. plus others. They received their gold record for At The Hop on Dick Clark’s American Bandstand, where they appeared almost 50 times. Barbara Lewis will enchant you with her great love songs Hello Stranger, Baby I’m Yours, Make Me Your Baby and more. Over the course of her successful career, African-born songstress Angélique Kidjo has spread her rhythmic Afro-funk fusion to the four corners of the globe. With her fun-loving personality, on-stage charisma and totally unique voice, Ms. Kidjo is certainly one of the most popular artists on the current world scene. Her work cross-pollinates the West African traditions of her childhood in Benin with elements of American R&B, funk and jazz, as well as influences from Europe and Latin America.
