The Gerry Red Wilson Foundation is an organization dedicated to raising awareness and fighting Meningitis.

Every Good Boy Deserves Favour is a rarely performed collaborative piece by the unique artistic team of Tom Stoppard and André Previn. In a Soviet asylum in 1977, two men share a cell. While Ivanov is a genuine mental patient who believes he's conducting a full orchestra that appears on stage, Alexander is a political prisoner and must admit his “mental illness” to regain his freedom.

A great night of the blues with Koko Taylor, the Queen of the Blues who has taken her gritty hard-driving blues from tiny Chicago clubs to giant festivals throughout the world; 92-year-old David “Honeyboy” Edwards, one of the few surviving links between early blues and the later Chicago style; Henry Gray, who in his remarkable sixty- year career helped shape the Chicago blues piano style; and John Cephas and Phil Wiggins, two of the finest living exponents of the Piedmont or country blues.

West African drumming and dance, Afro-Cuban percussion, Brazilian capoeira and Haitian vodou (voodoo) drumming are showcased in this program of traditions from Ghana and the African diaspora. Featured are Ghanian drummer/composer Obo Addy, known for his hot polyrhythmic drumming, and Okropong, his powerhouse group of musicians and dancers; conguero Francisco Aguabella, an elder statesman of Afro-Cuban percussion who has been active in the jazz scene since the ‘50s; Joao Grande, arguably the world’s foremost exponent of the breathtaking capoeira angola martial arts dance; and Haitian master drummer Frisner Augustin and his Troupe Makandal.
