This series was introduced in 1998 and has since become an audience favorite. We screen pre released studio and independent films followed by a discussion with people affiliated with the film. Offered on a subscription basis only, the Film Series has sold out every year. Due to the high demand for membership we have been forced to create a waiting list, which is very exciting for us! The series, which runs from February to June, offers ten films, with two bonus films if you sign up prior to November. Film series members also receive a membership card with discounts for various neighborhood restaurants.

Our host is is the author/critic Scott Siegel who leads the guests through an entertaining and informative Q&A session. Producers, directors, actors, writers and other developers connected with the film have appeared as part of the series. They offer behind-the-scenes stories, intimate discussions and details of the filmmaking process. Among past guests were such names as Peter Bogdanovich, Stanley Tucci, Phyllis Newman, Michael Shamberg, Peter Gallagher, Mary-Louise Parker, Jean Doumanian, Rob Morrow, Louise Lasser, Fred Schepisi, and Jill Sprecher.
