Scott Siegel (producer, writer, host) created the Broadway by the Year series for Town Hall. Scott is a well-known pop culture critic who covers film, theatre, and cabaret with his wife, Barbara, writing "The Siegel Column" for Theater-Mania.com every Tuesday and Friday. They also write “The Two of Clubs” column weekly for Talkin’ Broadway.com. In addition, Barbara and Scott broadcast their reviews on the radio across the U.S. via the Siegel Entertainment Syndicate. Previously, they wrote for Back Stage, Show Business Weekly, plus two columns for InTheater Magazine and covered New York theater/cabaret for the West Coast trade paper, Drama-Logue, for which they also wrote film reviews. The Siegels are the authors of 47 books, including The Encyclopedia of Hollywood, American Film Comedy (Macmillan), and celebrity biographies. Scott has hosted the Town Hall Feature Film Seminar Series since 1999. He also produces the critically acclamied Broadway Unplugged concert and the Nightlife Awards at Town Hall.
